Welcome to Camp Trinity 2023

Camp Trinity is a summer camp ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church.  The program runs Monday through Friday beginning on June 5th and running through August 4th.  Multiple options are available for families from individual sessions to the whole summer.

Each Session provides THREE weeks of summer FUN!

Session 1: June 5th – June 23rd

Session 2: June 26th – July 14th (no camp July 3 or 4)

(Session 2 includes VBS June 26-30, a $40 value)

Session 3: July 17th – August 4th

5 days a week; $690 per session or entire summer $1,995 (savings of $75)

3 days a week M/W/F$540 per session or entire summer $1,570 (savings of $50)

Camp Adventures:

9am – 4pm

Early Drop off 8am / Late Pick up 6pm (included in price)

(late fee: $1 per minute, pay in cash to counselor).

What happens at camp?

Camp Trinity’s goal is to provide a fun, safe environment where children can learn more about Jesus. We accomplish this goal through games, music, crafts, group activities, cabin time, service projects, and so much more.

Who can attend camp?

K-5th – Camp Trinity is for children who entering Kindergarten 2023/24 through those who have completed 5th grade.

 

Infant – 4 yr old – Trinity Lutheran Preschool offers a summer program for younger children; contact our Preschool Director, Kerri Launer directly,  by emailing her at klauner@tlcsimi.com for more information

What Does It Cost?

Pricing Details

  1. Non-refundable registration fee (Camp Cancellation Excluded). $50.00 for each participant. The fee covers the cost of the shirt and other training and supplies needed to keep your child(ren) safe during camp. Register today to guarantee your spot!
  2. Tuition. Doors open each day at 8:00 a.m. with limited programming. Our Camp Opening begins at 9:00 a.m. Our programmed day closes at 4:00 p.m. and there is limited programming from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
    • 5 Day Registration – $690 per session or $1,995 all summer ($75 Discount all summer; includes all days camp is open)
    • 3 Day Registration M/W/F $540 per session or $1,570 all summer – Offering only Mon./Wed./Fri. option, at the moment.
  3. NO CAMP JULY 3 & 4  in Session 2. However VBS is included with full paid session.

The non-refundable registration fee is due upon registration (Registration closes on May 15th). Tuition Due Dates below:

Session 1: Due Fri., May 26th

Session 2: Due Fri. June 16th

Session 3: Due Fri., July 7th

What about older kids?

All filled up for 2023, please check back next summer.

Middle school through age 15: Consider signing up to be a Jr. Counselor
Jr. Counselors help out Counselors and other aides with keeping up with kids and other activities.  A limited number of Jr. Counselors will be allowed per week.  Jr. Counselors are expected to be on campus for the full week they are signed up and be available from 9:00 – 4:00 each day.  They are responsible for any entrance fees for field trips.  Please email our church office at trinity@tlcsimi.com if you have any children who would be interested or if you have any questions.

Looking for a Summer Job?

*All employment for summer camp is at-will employment.

All jobs filled up for 2023, please look to next summer for employment.

16 and older: Apply to be an Aid: Aids help with the day to day operation of the camp. They are part of the paid staff but have limited responsibility areas (estimated 20 hours per week)

18 and over… looking for a summer job: Apply to be a Counselor – Counselors are our front-line employees. They must enjoy being around elementary aged children. They will be expected to help lead Cabin Time small group activities and help facilitate small and large group games. Counselors also assist in before and aftercare activities. Counselors may get up to 40 hours a week (not guaranteed). Please click the link below to apply.
